  • Application Submission Period: Noon (JST) 2025.1.7 (Tue.) to Noon (JST) 1.16 (Thu.)
  • Announcement of 1st Stage Screening Outcome: 10:00 (JST) 2025.2.7 (Fri.)
  • 2nd Stage Screening: One or two days during 2025.3.3 (Mon.) to 3.7 (Fri.)
  • Announcement of Successful Applicants: 10:00 (JST) 2025.4.3 (Thu.)
  • Admission Procedures: 10:00 (JST) 2025.4.3 (Thu.) to 8:00 (JST) 4.10 (Thu.)
Eligibility
Basic Qualifications
  • Have completed 12-year of education based on a non-Japanese education system by the time of enrollment in Tohoku University.
    *For those who have completed 11-year of education, your eligibility will depend on your education history.
Academic Requirements
  • Official English Test Score:  TOEFL iBT® (including Home Edition) 79+ or IELTSTM Academic 6.0+
  • Standardized Examination Scores(Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry): GCE A-Levels, IB, ACT (without writing), AP, EJU, etc.
